Do I need an account to play?
No. Playing is completely free and never requires an account. You only sign in if you want to create your own games.
How does a reveal game work?
A creator hides a picture behind numbered masks, each guarded by a challenge. Answer a mask’s quiz question — or complete its photo task — and the mask lifts to reveal part of the image. Clear them all to see the whole picture.
Is my uploaded picture private?
Yes. Your original is stored privately and never sent to players’ browsers. Players only ever see flattened composites of the masks they’ve already unlocked.
What kinds of challenges can I set?
Two kinds today: a quiz (players type an answer that’s checked automatically) and a photo task (players upload a photo that you approve by hand to lift the mask).
Is there a limit on guesses?
Each player gets a set number of guesses per mask per day, so a game can’t be brute-forced. When they run out they can come back the next day — or, where available, watch a short ad to earn a few more tries.
How do the ads work?
Ads are optional and only appear when a player chooses to watch one in exchange for extra tries. They run only on safe-for-work games and are served by Google. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are handled.
Can I collect players’ emails?
Yes. You can require a verified email before the first mask — useful for giveaways and lead capture. Players are always told the email is used only for that game.
Is the content safe for work?
Yes. secret.pics is safe-for-work. Uploads are automatically screened, explicit content is refused, and every game has a Report link for anything that slips through.
How much does it cost?
Creating and playing games is free while we’re in early access.
